Australia and New Zealand Will NEVER Help Melanesian Archipelago and Peoples from Climate Disaster!
Take my words! I am Wewo Kotokay, speaking the truth for our co-existence as communities of beings in our Blue Continent region. I mean it in terms of our response to global warming and climate change, that already threatening our survival as communities of beings and our existence as human race in our inherited islands.
The logic is simple! First and the most important reason, these two countries were established on the lands of Maori and Aboriginal peoples. These people who call themselves Christians, modern people, civilized humans are not the owners of these places. I am sure, the spirits of these places do not welcome them at all.
They were never invited by anyone native to these places. They came to steal, take over and occupy other peoples’ lands. If you ever known any thieves who ever consider others and help others, then those are good thieves. I am familiar with a thief in Sentani, West Papua, by the name of Willem Tabuni. He will steal, almost on daily basis, but all the time, he will never take things that he stole back to his house. He will give away right away to anyone that he meets on his way back home. As a result nobody ever pointed Willem Tabuni to police when the police were searching him. The community protected him well. Do you think Australians and New Zealanders are the same as Willem Tabuni? I am not sure about that!
The second reason is that these two countries came out as results of colonialism, and after that, both are assigned by their colonial masers (England, USA, and France) to take care of these islands for the sake of their economic and security interests. They are not here because they love us Melanesians. They are not obliged by any reason to help us Melanesians.
It does not mean I want to force them to open their eyes and try to think about how they will help us. It actually means I am pointing out to all Melanesian islands, villages and tribes that our help will only come from ourselves. Nobody else will come to help us, when our islands sink into the deep Blue Continent, and when we are threatened to death penalty by the Laws of Nature.
New Guinea is Our Origin and Our Destiny
To do this, first of all, we need to get united, see ourselves, call ourselves, and treat ourselves as one entity:
- One Ancestor: Melanesia;
- One Origin: New Guinea Island
- One Archipelago: Melanesia
- One Destiny: Melanesia in New Guinea Island.
- One Union of Peoples: United Tribes of Melanesia, Union of Melanesian Tribes for United States of Melanesia
To do this, first of all, we have to get out from colonial map, and call ourselves NOT West Papuans, NOT Papua New Guineans, NOT Solomon Islanders, NOT Fijians, NOT Ni-Vanuatu, NOT New Caledonians. Let us call ourselves: Melanesians in West Papua, Melanesians in Papua New Guinea, Melanesians in Fiji, Melanesians in Solomon Islands, Melanesians in Vanuatu and Melanesians in Kanaky.
